A · Seen in a catalogueRacing lightweightIn confirmed sources: 1976–1984

The Competition GS appears in the 1976 US catalogue, the Competition in 1977, and the Competition G.S. in 1978 with Reynolds 531 double-butted tubing, Campagnolo Gran Sport and 700c wheels. In the 1984 UK catalogue the Competition 12 used a Reynolds 531 Competition tube set with SunTour Cyclone II gears, in Iridescent Green. Retro Raleighs' chronology gives 1968 for the first Competition, still to be checked.
