Raleigh Gran Sport

A · Seen in a catalogueRacing lightweightIn confirmed sources: 1961–1976

Peter Kohler places the Gran Sport in the 1961 revamp, and Retro Raleighs shows it in the 1962 catalogue. It is listed in the 1970 US catalogue as a 27in 10-speed with Huret Luxe gears, though Retro Raleighs believes that version was probably never produced, and it appears again in the 1976 US catalogue.

NoteRetro Raleighs says the 1970 catalogue version was probably never produced.
Sources disagree: Gran Sport 1970Listed in the 1970 US catalogue (Ebykr catalogue archive) or Probably never actually produced (Retro Raleighs (sheldonbrown.com)). We show both until a catalogue settles it.
