The Miss Modern is in the 1936 Claud Butler catalogue with a short top tube and an Osgear or Simplex 3-speed. The 1939 version used Reynolds 531 double-butted tubing in a diamond frame, and the 1949 catalogue lists welded Mk I (Model 9) and Mk II (Model 10) versions with clearance for 26 or 27in wheels.
