Claud Butler used the Competitor name twice. In 1954 it was Model 56, a brazed-lug ten-speed with 72° parallel angles. The 1977 Competitor, in a brochure from The Holdsworthy Co., had Reynolds 531 tubing and Campagnolo Nuovo Gran Sport ten-speed gears.
Same name, different bikes1954 and 1977 Competitors are different bikes.
